The Annual Functional Physical

A comprehensive performance and longevity assessment — now enrolling a founding cohort for Spring 2026. Spots are limited.

What it is

Most fitness assessments answer one question: how fit are you right now?

The AFP answers a different one: where are you on a long arc of health and performance — and where are you likely headed if nothing changes?

Over three dedicated sessions, we assess the six capacities that matter most across decades of athletic life — aerobic fitness, strength, power, joint capacity, body composition, and recovery. We don't run a fixed test battery. Every assessment is selected based on your context, your history, and your goals.

What you leave with isn't just data. It's a clear picture of what limits you, what to prioritize, and what your future self will thank you for starting now.

What’s included

Three dedicated sessions spaced across 7–10 days, allowing proper recovery between assessments for accurate results.

  • Context + Movement + Baseline Physiology

A deep intake conversation, integrated movement assessment, and baseline physiological markers. This is where we understand the system before stressing it.

  • Neuromuscular Capacity

Strength, power, and muscular endurance testing selected based on your background and movement capacity from Session 1.

  • Energy Systems + Interpretation

Aerobic and anaerobic capacity testing, followed by a full interpretation of your results across all six anchors.

  • Optional and scheduled separately via BodyScan. Results integrated into your report.

  • A written document summarizing your six-anchor results, cross-anchor pattern analysis, decade projection, and prioritized next steps. Yours to keep and reference for years.

Is this right for you?

The AFP is designed for everyday athletes who are serious about the long game — people who lift, run, surf, compete recreationally, or simply want to stay capable and active into their 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond.

It is not a medical exam. It is not physical therapy. It is a performance and longevity assessment for people who want to train smarter, not just harder.

If you're not sure whether it's the right fit, the inquiry call will answer that.

AFP spots are limited by design. Three sessions over 7–10 days means I can only take on a small number of people at a time — and I want to get it right.

If you're curious whether this is for you, subscribe to Between Sets & Sips — that's where I'll announce founding cohort openings first, and where I'll reach out personally when your spot opens.
